Welcome to Figro. These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and Figro ("Figro," "we," "us") covering your use of the website at figro.app and all of the tools, calculators, and guides available on it (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Figro provides

Figro offers free, browser-based tools and educational guides. The tools run entirely on your own device; you don't need an account, and you don't have to give us any personal information to use them. We may add, change, or remove tools and guides at any time as the Service evolves.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Figro for any lawful personal or commercial purpose — for example, generating a password, calculating a loan, or making an invoice. You agree not to:

use the Service in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights;
attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure;

3. Calculators and guides are for information only

Important: Figro's tools and guides — including those touching taxes, paychecks, loans, insurance, real estate, investments, nutrition, and health — are provided for general information and estimation. They are not financial, tax, legal, medical, or professional advice, and they do not create a professional relationship.

We work hard to keep formulas correct and figures (like tax brackets and contribution limits) current, but we can't guarantee that every result is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. Results depend on the inputs and assumptions you provide. Before making a decision that carries real financial, legal, or health consequences, confirm the numbers with a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you use the outputs of any tool.

4. Your content and data

Because the tools run in your browser, the information you type generally stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. Some tools save preferences or work-in-progress in your browser's local storage for your convenience; you can clear this at any time. 5. Advertising and affiliate links

The Service is free and is supported by advertising and affiliate relationships. We display ads through Google and other partners, and some pages contain affiliate links to third-party products. Recommendations are our own and are never a condition of using any tool.

Figro links to third-party websites and products we don't control. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, products, or practices of those sites. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Figro name, logo, site design, original guide text, and tool implementations are owned by Figro and protected by applicable laws. You may use the tools and share links to our pages freely. You may not copy our branding or republish our original written content as your own without permission.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We don't warrant that the Service will always be error-free or available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Figro and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service or your reliance on any result it produces. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
